Limousine and Executive Car Hire
Terms & Conditions
 
The person signing this Contract shall be known as "The Hirer". Upon The Hirer signing the Contract and also accepting the quotation for the Schedule of Hire he/she shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to comply with the following Terms & Conditions which shall form part of the binding contract between The Company and The Hirer
 

1. BOOKINGS: All Bookings can only be made in advance, names of members of The Hirer's party shall be advised and all details of hire must be confirmed at the time of booking.

 
2. All payments shall be made by the agreed date advised at the time. The Hirer shall make the booking or within not less than fourteenth days together with a deposit of not less than a £50 (Fifty Pounds) before the booking can be deemed as accepted by The Company.
 
3. The Company must receive balance payments in respect of the Hire Charge/s not less than fourteen days before the date of hire. In the event that the booking is made less than fourteen days prior to the actual date of hire, The Company must receive full payment at the making of the booking by The Hirer.
 
4. The Company agrees to accept payment by credit card, debit card and cash. In the event that The Hirer wishes to pay by cash, such payment can only be accepted by the aforementioned payment deadlines.
 
5. In the event that The Hirer wishes to send cash payments to The Company using the British Postal System, it is The Hirer's responsibility to put in place adequate safeguards and insurance's (which shall be at The Hirer's expense) to ensure the secure delivery of any such cash payments. The Company shall not accept any liability for any none receipt by The Company of such expected deliveries of cash sent by The Hirer, howsoever caused.
 
6. Once the booking has been made and the deposit and/or full payment received by The Company, the price quoted to The Hirer will not be subject to alteration unless there shall be a change to the agreed details of the booking by The Hirer requested of The Company. (See Extra Request/s)
 
7. CANCELLATION: Any deposits or full payments made less than fourteen days prior r to the date of hire are non-refundable. There is a 100% cancellation fee on all bookings for any vehicles cancelled on the day of the journey.
 
8. No responsibility or liability can be accepted by The Company for delay or cancellation of the booking due in full or in part to any of the following situations arising; adverse weather conditions (e.g. snow, flood or high winds) official road diversions, road traffic accident, mechanical, electrical or material failure of the vehicle howsoever caused.
 
9. Whilst every effort shall be made by The Company to ensure the provision of the service booked by The Hirer, no responsibility will be accepted by The Company for mechanical, electrical or material failure or breakdown howsoever caused. In the aforementioned unlikely event occurring, The Company shall make every effort for the immediate return to service of the vehicle/s for the continuation of the Hirer's booking. In the event that immediate return to the provision of the booked service is not possible, The Company shall make every endeavour to provide a similar replacement vehicle/s or alternative/s at The Company's discretion. If this is not possible or acceptable to The Hirer, a Full Refund will be made by The Company of the monies paid in respect of the booking. The Company shall accept no further liability for any loss, costs or expenses incurred by the Hirer or any member of his/her party as a direct or indirect result of The Company not being able to provide or complete the service booked by The Hirer. You are also agreeing to ljl limos contracting {allowing} another company to cover your booking, if for any reason ljl limos can not cater for  your Limousine or executive car hire.  LJL Limos accept no responsibility to agents or supplier claims on the number of passengers being carried in a vehicle. LJL LIMOS will place a vehicle hire based on the number of passengers that the vehicle you have booked is designed for
 
10. EXTRA REQUEST/S: Any extra request of service, pick-up, drop-off, change of location/s, destination/s or venue/s to the agreed booking cannot necessarily be entertained, however The Company shall make every effort to meet The Hirer's extra requested requirements or changes to the originally agreed schedule. The Hirer understands that in the event that The Company agrees extra requests, in most cases further costs would be applicable in order to accommodate such changes. Any overrun of time booked directly due to spontaneous changes made by The Hirer or any member of his/her party during the booking taking place shall render The Hirer is liable to a surcharge of £75 (Seventy Five Pounds) per hour or part thereof.
 
11. SMOKING: is strictly prohibited within the vehicle/s complying with insurance policy and licensing requirements, any infringement shall render the contract terminated forthwith and all monies paid forfeited.
 
12. CONSUMPTION OF food products and/or soft or alcoholic drink is not permitted within the vehicle except where provided by The Company.
 
13. Any food products and drinks provided by The Company shall be consumed within the vehicle and shall not be removed from it at any time.
 
14. The Hirer shall be responsible and liable for any damage howsoever caused, outside or inside the vehicle/s by The Hirer or any member of his/her party. This shall be deemed to include incitement to ANY Third Party which results in damage to the vehicle/s exterior or interior, contents, furnishings or equipment. In the event of such damage taking place, The Hirer shall be liable for the retail cost of any repairs required to bring the vehicle/s back to a condition prior to such damage taking place. The Hirer shall accept The Company's right to choose which repairer it shall engage to carry out any repairs. In addition The Hirer shall be liable to pay The Company a Fixed Daily Rate of between £500.00 and £2,000.00 which shall be calculated at The Company's discretion for such time as the vehicle/s shall be out of commission for repairs to remedy damage caused. Further, The Hirer shall also be liable for any loss of bookings incurred by The Company
 
15. The Company and/or it's appointed representative/s e.g. chauffeur, reserves the right to refuse entry to the vehicle/s of any person/s it considers is behaving in such a manner as to be detrimental to other persons, the vehicle/s or contents. In this event no refund shall be considered.
 
16. Hanging out of the windows of the vehicle/s is strictly prohibited and illegal.
 
17. Sitting on the exterior of the vehicle/s is prohibited and will render the hire terminated forthwith with no refund.
 
18. It is understood that the law requires all passengers sitting in forward facing seats must wear a seat belt
 
19. The sound system must be operated at a reasonable volume level so as not to cause nuisance to other road users, distract the concentration of the chauffeur or be in contravention of the law.
 
20. A £100 valet charge shall be levied on The Hirer for misuse or damage incurred by the vehicle/s or its contents and furnishings by The Hirer or any member of his/her party in respect of any damage. Food stuff, drinks or sickness in the vehicle will be chargeable to the customer’s credit card or cash payment.
 
21. The Hirer shall be liable for all breakage of glasses at the rate of £10 (Ten Pounds) per glass
 
22. Any valuables left in the vehicle/s by The Hirer or his/her Party Members are at The Hirer's own risk and The Company shall accept no liability whatsoever for any losses incurred.
 
23. The Company accept no liability for The Hirer's missed; connections, travel deadlines and/or appointments or functions howsoever caused. WE reserve the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Should we decide to do so, we will e-mail these changes to you at the  e-mail address provided from you to LJL LIMOS by you when booking with   LJL LIMOS.
 
24. Booking with LJL LIMOS, you are confirming you have read, understood and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions on the ljl limos website numbers 1-24. Please ensure you understand them fully prior to placing a booking with us.
